Fall Dinner Meeting

The Fall Dinner Meeting was held Friday, September 20 at the Wildwood Steakhouse in Marlborough. Tom Tucker, the Hetherington Chair of Mathematics at Colgate University, spoke about how differentials have been banned from the first two semesters of calculus, mostly for foundational rather than practical reasons.  The Dinner Meeting and speaker were arranged by Dave Henry of Bristol CC and Mary Moynihan of Cape Cod CC. Denise Robichaud of Quinsigamond CC helped out with registration. Thanks to them for their hard work!

The slides from the meeting are here.
